A Place for Everyone is designed to enhance intergenerational and cross-cultural engagement of individuals, families and communities. Our concert series consists of three events pairing veteran artists with young aspiring artists from different genres/ethnicities/generations creating an energetic inviting ambiance. This fosters opportunities for mentoring and encouraging relationships between artists to create common ground around arts.
Our first concert on March 10, 2012 features veteran artists Chante Moore (African American R&B Singer) and Malina Moye (African American Funk/Rock Guitarist) with newer artists JetStream (Caucasian Rock Band) and Harrell (African American R & B/Pop singer) at the Nate Holden Performing Arts Center. We anticipate 392 attendees at this first concert in the series.
