Charity: Water at Saks Fifth Avenue

Over 1000 gorgeous guests, came out in force to Saks Fifth Ave to help raise over $131K for Charity: Water.

Guests joined Saks Fifth Avenue for an evening of celebration to benefit the work of charity: water, a nonprofit organization that builds freshwater wells in developing nations to provide entire communities with fresh water for years. Saks has partnered with charity: water for its Mother’s and Father’s Day charity initiative by helping to provide these families with the most priceless gift: safe water.

The evening included a special live acoustic performance by The Kin.

ABOUT CHARITY: WATER

Since charity: water was founded and began activity in August 2006, they have funded the construction of more than 624 clean water projects in 11 countries that, when completed, will provide clean drinking water to 250,000 people. charity: water uses 100 percent of the money it raises to directly fund freshwater well and sanitation projects in some of the poorest communities in Africa, India and Central America. www.charitywater.org
