I mean if you like Kenny Powers or Fred Simmons, I don't realize why you would dislike McBride's Thadeous. The medieval theme kind of took over the comedy. If you enjoy perverse humor, this is the movie for you. Begin with a talented cast. I was excited by the cast, but even Natalie Portman couldn't save the dismal script. The previews I noticed at the theatre and on Television was misleading. I did not anticipate a film without having a script no character development, no plot development, with a * trophy necklace. And truly, just lighten up, turn your brain off, and have some laughs. The story was entertaining and not 100% predictable. But following about 5 minutes into it, i realized something: the critics who review films are just a bunch of washed up old hacks who are looking for the next gran torino to give a grueling 8. The plot and cast were the reasons I chose to see this flick, thinking that was enough to get over the vulgarity. If you do not like humor involving profanity and vulgarity then this is not the movie for you.
