Testimonials

"We couldn't have asked for anything more from CharityHappenings.org!  By listing The American Red Cross in Greater New York's Cocktails for a Cause event on their website and e-mail, we were able to reach thousands of new potential donors to further our mission.  As a special events planner I was astounded at the quantity and quality of their contacts.  Partnering with CharityHappenings.org gave us the ability to increase the profile and awareness of our event like never before.  This service is an asset to a non-profits' event publicity for a modest fee with immense return.  We will definitely be using their website again!"
-Michelle Seligman Weinraub, Director, Special Events, American Red Cross in Greater NY.

-The “event going” public with a comprehensive search friendly list of events by date, cause, and category.
-The media in finding out when charity events are taking place, giving them a reliable resource for coverage

About the Founder & Publisher:

Justin Baer Justin Baer, 26, New York University cum laude graduate, philanthropist and entrepreneur, has launched his latest social business venture, CharityHappenings.org and "The Circuit" Newsletter.  He is proud to continue the family tradition of publishing as the third generation. CharityHappenings.org, a unique master calendar and supplier directory concept is the first venture benefiting the non-profit sector since his 2003-04 cause related loyalty card concept, The Cure Card, LLC.  Netting over $1.3 million for Evelyn Lauder's Breast Cancer Research Foundation, The Cure Card, LLC became the largest contributor to the foundation that year.

The Cure Card, LLC has raised over $2 million dollars to date and has since been acquired by cause related marketing firm, Profit For All, Inc.  The loyalty program could recently be found in Ann Taylor stores nationwide.  Prior to founding CharityHappenings.org, Justin was an acquisitions analyst for Ramer Equities, Inc, a private equity group in Maryland.

Justin was recently mentioned in Entrepreneur Magazine's 2008 Hot List, Lifestyles Magazine, New York Resident Magazine's Who's Who issue, MSNBC.com and was a recent guest on CNN Radio, Fox 45, and Fox News Radio Tampa.  He also serves as a trustee to The Baer Family Foundation.

Leveraging the success of his first venture in the nonprofit arena, Justin is making the same impact on the events and promotion arm of the non-profit world.    Contact Justin by email at Justin@charityhappenings.org
