How did you meet? I was on an emergency shift at the
ASPCA and a case came in as a transfer from the Animal Medical Center.
I called
the attending Doctor to get a better idea of the case and it turned out
to be Jason. About a week later, he mentioned my name to another
surgeon (and
good friend) and asked if I was "cute." The next day I was on the
phone with her and she was asking all these pressing questions about my
personal dating status, etc...and she asked if I would go out on a
blind date...I almost said no, but I figured I had nothing to lose.
We've been
inseparable ever since.
How did he propose? He took me away to
Eleuthera for my birthday and rented a small secluded cottage 10 feet
from the ocean. We made a
bonfire every night, fished, explored the island, and fell even deeper
in love with one another. On the 3rd day he purchased a very large
lobster
from
a local fisherman and we cooked and made a bonfire on the beach. Just
as the sun was setting, he asked me to join him on the rocks to watch
the
sunset
and then he asked if I wanted to be with him forever...to which I said
"of course-but I tell you that all the time" and with that he took a
small
velvet box out of his pocket and asked if it was "this kind of forever
that I had in mind"...more than perfect.
When did you know he was "the one": I knew by the 3rd date.
