Annual IREO Renewable Energy Awards Gala attracts Celebrities and Industry Leaders
The 2nd annual IREO Renewable Energy Awards Gala (following the IREO renewable Energy Conference) at the UN Headquarters in New York City, NY attracted high profile attendees from around the globe including VIP Guests Master of Ceremony and Good Morning America Weather Anchor Sam Champion, designer Rachel Roy, Award presenters and Actors Tony Goldwyn, Matthew Modine, Carla Ortiz, Gloria Reuben and Billy Zane, Supermodel Masha Rudenko, Actor Chris Lidell, Actor & Producer Shawn Parsons.
The IREO (Intergovernmental Renewable Energy Organization) founded this annual event as a way to honor those individuals and organizations who choose to lead the way of global advancement in alternative energy solutions. The Renewable Energy Award is an opportunity to recognize those individuals and organizations that challenge conventional wisdom and encourage critical thinking to create positive reform.
IREO is a proponent of clean and efficient energy sources combined with sustainable development and social awareness. The organization started as a partnership initiative launched in response to the Rio Declaration on Environmental and Development, the Kyoto Protocol, the Johannesburg Declaration and the United Nations Conference on Climate Change in New York.
