Harvest in the Square is Manhattan’s premier food and wine tasting event. Over 1,250 foodies and Friends of Union Square Park will come together for a night of food, music, and fun on the park's West Plaza. "Harvest in the Square has become a highly-anticipated New York City tradition and a delicious way to raise money for Union Square Park,” said Union Square Partnership Executive Director Jennifer Falk. Harvest 2008 will feature something for everyone, from haute cuisine to comfort food, fine wines to marshmallow milkshakes. At last year's event, guests savored Greenmarket Chicken Roulade from Tocqueville Restaurant and T-Bone Steaks from Knickerbocker Bar & Grill, and flocked to the Max Brenner Chocolate by the Bald Man table for liquid chocolate - and that's just scratching the surface! The 2008 event is sure to surpass last year’s blowout as guests enjoy delicious food prepared by Union Square's hottest chefs, a global selection of wines, music and more. Harvest in the Square is presented by the Union Square Partnership, a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization, and proceeds benefit the organization's ongoing beautification and maintenance efforts in Union Square Park.
