OIWW is a non-governmental organization associated with the U.N.
Department of Public Information and a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit
corporation. OIWW has established a network of legal, locally
incorporated projects to house and educate children orphaned and abandoned
after the 2004 tsunami in Sri Lanka and Indonesia, and hurricane Jeanne in
Haiti. In 2009 we will be caring for aids affected orphans in Moshi,
Tanzania. OIWW provides aid to the world's most disadvantaged children
with the donated services of 90 volunteers, on an annual budget of less
than a half-million dollars.
