The There Is No Limit Foundation will be holding the First Annual " La Guinais" Gala on December 5th 2008 at Mansion 530 West 28th St. New York. NY from 9pm to 12pm.
On December 5th 2008, Girls To The Maxx- There Is No Limit Foundation will be holding the first Annual “La Guinais” event at Mansion (530 West 28th). “Heavyweights” from the movie industry, music, and sport, will join to raise funds for the “La Guinais ".
Stars such as celebrity chef and author Curtis Stone "TLC Take Home Chef", NBA superstar and legend Dikembe Mutombo, world's renown chef and restaurateur Jean George Vongeritchen owner of " Mercer kitchen and Spice Market”, Emmy nominated producer and editor Michael Amoia "owner of Vidiots T.V." and Soap star Denise Vasi " All My Children and Napoleon Dynamite " the face of numerous cosmetic lines such as Olay; are among the stars set to align for this evening of entertainment, music and fashion, all for a charitable cause. The event will also draw over 100 corporate executives and Representative of Government as well as the ambassador of Guinea to the United States.
The gala will be a grey- tie, red carpet event with press and media present. The event will be hosted by Lorry Francois. The gala will include a fashion show; most of the tie- dye fabrics displayed are made by hard working poor women from Guinea Conakry. The process of making these fabrics takes approximately 10 days. All of these fabrics are custom made; these fabrics will be available for sale on our website at a later date. Live music and African traditional music (drums, Kora) will be playing all night.
Many more exciting performances will occur on this night. Ors D'oeuvre and wine will be served at the beginning of the gala. INVITATION and SPACE ARE LIMITED.
DRESS CODE: All attendees must wear formal attire. All attendees must include a grey accessory in their attire (tie, scarf, grey eye shadow, etc...) and a condom
Time: 8:30 pm Event Check In; The event starts at 9:00 pm and ends at 12 am.
